    Roger Federer

Despite having turned 41, Roger Federer has no intention of giving up. The last two seasons have been especially difficult for the Swiss, who has been forced to deal with a serious problem in his right knee.

The Swiss decided to have knee surgery.

The former world number 1 only played 13 official matches in 2021, with nine wins and four losses. After being eliminated by Hubert Hurkacz in the 2021 Championship, the Swiss decided to have knee surgery for the third time in 18 months.

Barring further setbacks, the Swiss star will be back on the slopes at the Laver Cup next month. Roger will end his very brief season at the ATP Basel, which returns to the calendar after cancelling the last two editions due to the pandemic.

Andy Roddick revealed why he has always had problems against Federer.

In a recent "New York Post interview," Andy Roddick revealed why he has always had problems against Federer. Suffice to say; the Swiss have won 21 of 24 head-to-head meetings, as well as an 8-0 record in Slams (4-0 in finals).

Roddick talks about his black beast.

"Playing against Roger Federer was the worst possible match for me," admitted Roddick. "My strengths didn't challenge him enough; they ended up improving his game.

    Rafael Nadal against Roger

When I faced Rafael Nadal, I knew that my service would bother him and that my power would force him back. Against Roger, it was different. He could take me out of my comfort zone. Rafa did the same against Federer because of his left foot.

US Open Everything will depend on Nadal's form

Some matches are especially favourable for one player and very unfavourable for the other", explained A-Rod. The American also spoke about the next US Open: "Everything will depend on Nadal's form.

    Borna Coric and  Daniil Medvedev

He has only played one match since retiring from Wimbledon and failed to shine against Borna Coric. I look good on Daniil Medvedev, who has shown that he is good on these tracks. We must not underestimate Nick Kyrgios, having the best season of his entire career."
